The Story Of This Design - Not Just A Pretty Picture

Double Ikat Dot has a warm and inviting feeling. Ikat is a technique that involves resist dyeing on the warp and sometimes weft yarns prior to weaving. The shifting of the yarns as it is being warped or during weaving is what creates the interesting variations. This pattern is part of the Resist the Ikat collection, inspired by the painstaking resist-dye technique ikat. Motifs in these patterns have soft edges indicative of the feathered quality found in ikat fabrics.

      Custom Color

      Pricing:

      • Single Use license: $50 per colorway.
      • Unlimited Use license: $100 per colorway.
      • Payment is due in advance at checkout.
      • Any additional changes are an additional $25 or $50, respectively.

      How it works:

      • Purchase a license for the pattern.
      • Upon checkout, you will receive a downloadable PDF. Please fill it out with as much detail as possible and email to info@designpoolpatterns.com.
      • You provide us with all the necessary information to complete your request, including color references and any color placement.
      • If we have any questions, we will make one attempt to reach out via email and phone.
      • You will receive three versions via digital PDF based on your selected pattern and color direction.
      • Payments for additional tweaks will be invoiced and paid prior to the delivery of final files.
      • Upon approval, you will be sent the print-ready image.

      Color matching and monitors:

      • We will come as close as “computerly” possible to your color preference.
      • Colors will appear slightly different due to monitors and printers.
      • Work with your digital printer to make any minor adjustments, and always request a sample first before ordering production.

      How long does it take?

      • Within 7 business days, upon receipt of the request, as long as all information is provided to complete the request.
      • If the form is not completely filled out, we will reach out via email and phone.
      • If there is no response within 10 business days, you will forfeit your payment, and the deliverable will not be required.
      • If you need it sooner, please reach out at info@designpoolpatterns.com, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that a rush fee may apply.
