The Story Of This Design - Not Just A Pretty Picture

Color Card Overlay, from our Swatch Collection, is a modern play on shapes and stripes. Striped circles were cut apart, rearranged and overlapped to create a colorful, allover pattern. Inspiration for the Swatch Collection came from an unexpected place: the color swatches covering Kristen’s desk. Color swatches are a valuable tool for colorwork on new patterns and working with them can often cause a colorful mess. Kristen used this spark of inspiration to play with the idea of swatches to create modern, geometric patterns.

      Custom Color

      Pricing:

      • Single Use license: $50 per colorway.
      • Unlimited Use license: $100 per colorway.
      • Payment is due in advance at checkout.
      • Any additional changes are an additional $25 or $50, respectively.

      How it works:

      • Purchase a license for the pattern.
      • Upon checkout, you will receive a downloadable PDF. Please fill it out with as much detail as possible and email to info@designpoolpatterns.com.
      • You provide us with all the necessary information to complete your request, including color references and any color placement.
      • If we have any questions, we will make one attempt to reach out via email and phone.
      • You will receive three versions via digital PDF based on your selected pattern and color direction.
      • Payments for additional tweaks will be invoiced and paid prior to the delivery of final files.
      • Upon approval, you will be sent the print-ready image.

      Color matching and monitors:

      • We will come as close as “computerly” possible to your color preference.
      • Colors will appear slightly different due to monitors and printers.
      • Work with your digital printer to make any minor adjustments, and always request a sample first before ordering production.

      How long does it take?

      • Within 7 business days, upon receipt of the request, as long as all information is provided to complete the request.
      • If the form is not completely filled out, we will reach out via email and phone.
      • If there is no response within 10 business days, you will forfeit your payment, and the deliverable will not be required.
      • If you need it sooner, please reach out at info@designpoolpatterns.com, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that a rush fee may apply.
