The Story Of This Design - Not Just A Pretty Picture

In pattern AI Sampler, Kristen was thinking a lot about AI and its potential impact on her industry. She was also inspired by traditional samplers and how they were often a way for women and girls to stitch their personal stories. Kristen decided to create a pattern in the look and feel of a sampler, but using words one would input into AI to have it spit out her pattern Tapestry of Flowers. This pattern can be printed on any flat material, and when printed on wallcovering using equipment such as the Dimensor-S 3D texture printer, it has real texture. This pattern is part of the Technology x Tradition collection, a 2024 HiP Award Honoree, and reflects on the role textiles have traditionally played in the development of technology.

      Custom Color

      How it works:

      • Purchase a license for the pattern.
      • Upon checkout, you will receive a downloadable PDF. Please fill it out with as much detail as possible and email to info@designpoolpatterns.com.
      • You provide us with all the necessary information to complete your request, including color references and any color placement.
      • If we have any questions, we will make one attempt to reach out via email and phone.
      • You will receive three versions via digital PDF based on your selected pattern and color direction.
      • Payments for additional tweaks will be invoiced and paid prior to the delivery of final files.
      • Upon approval, you will be sent the print-ready image.

      Color matching and monitors:

      • We will come as close as “computerly” possible to your color preference.
      • Colors will appear slightly different due to monitors and printers.
      • Work with your digital printer to make any minor adjustments, and always request a sample first before ordering production.

      How long does it take?

      • Within 7 business days, upon receipt of the request, as long as all information is provided to complete the request.
      • If the form is not completely filled out, we will reach out via email and phone.
      • If there is no response within 10 business days, you will forfeit your payment, and the deliverable will not be required.
