Introducing Design Pool Shop Direct

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new feature to the Design Pool website. This week, we launched a new Design Pool Shop Direct page. This new feature allows you to purchase a selection of products directly from our website. This new functionality will enable designers to order select materials directly from our website seamlessly, streamlining the design process and enhancing project efficiency. One of the best parts of the new Shop Direct page is that it also makes our library easier to access for consumers not in the trade or for people working on small projects. Buying peel-and-stick wallpaper or woven window film with Design Pool patterns is now as easy as buying any other product online.

What products are for sale?

We are offering shop direct for three different products:

• Woven Window Film: These are semi-transparent, woven polyester, peel-and-stick films that add privacy to a room while letting light through. It is available in five different sizes or by the yard.  
• Woven Window Film, Mini Mural: Our mini mural woven window film is the same material as the woven window film. The only difference is these are precut to fit into standard window sizes.
• Wallpaper: The peel-and-stick wallpaper is suitable for residential or temporary commercial interiors. It is 6mm thick, repositionable, and easy to apply and remove. Two different surfaces are available, smooth or textured, and they are all available in three sizes.

What patterns are available?

We have curated a selection of our most popular patterns to purchase through our new shop direct feature. Each pattern has five colorways to choose from, so there is something for everyone’s taste.

How does it work?

It works like any type of online shopping experience you’re used to. Just choose the product you want, select the pattern you like, click add to cart, and buy! It’s that easy. With low minimums and lots of patterns and colors to choose from, this is the perfect solution for people who know what they want, know how much they need, and don’t want to have to interact with a human.  

How is this different from the Design Pool library?

Our library of licensable patterns is set up as a tool for interior designers and digital printers. Printers use our library as an image resource so they have patterns they can offer their customers. Interior designers use the library to access printers directly to order materials with our patterns. We like to think of our pattern library as a way to connect these two groups of professionals. We also offer any of our users the opportunity to print our design on products through FabricSmiths. None of that has changed.

But sometimes, that process has more steps than some people want, especially for a small project. Using our Shop Direct option, people can quickly and easily order woven window film or wallpaper with no fuss.

Our mission at Design Pool has always been to expand the creativity of interior designers by giving them easy access to the world of digital printing. With the new Design Pool Shop Direct, we’re not only providing you access to our extensive library of patterns but also simplifying the process of sourcing custom materials.
