Get Started Pattern Drenching

Inspired by the trend of pattern drenching? We are too! At Design Pool, we know that this trend is absolutely perfect for on-demand printing. Pick a ton of patterns and print them on all the surfaces! Or pick one and play with it on different materials, or at different scales. The possibilities to make your creative vision come to life truly are endless

Not sure where to start? We’ve got suggestions for you!

Shop by Collection

Many of our patterns have been designed as part of collections. When designing collections, Kristen takes care to create patterns that coordinate with each other. Consider working with a feature pattern and then pairing it with coordinates and a texture. Any easy place to start searching by collection is on Pinterest. There, we pin collections in sections so they’re easy to find and save your favorites.

One of our most popular collections is our Award-winning Cryptology Collection. This collection of patterns contains florals, geometrics, stripes and all over textures. Best part? They also all contain hidden, coded messages in the patterns. These messages pay homage to Elizebeth Smith Friedman and the female codebreakers from WWII. Using patterns from this collection helps imbue a room with an added layer of meaning.

Shop by Color

Pattern drenching also works well if color ties the different patterns together. Our website makes it easy to search by color. Just check off what you’re looking for in the search bar on the left. Not seeing the perfect color in the pattern you love? Our design team can match any color you need to match your palette and room exactly.

Shop by Theme

Want to make a statement with one pattern? We love that idea! Search through our library of patterns by themes such as argyle, polka dot, floral, or houndstooth. Choose a single pattern to use in a project. Since all our patterns download in a vector file format, every pattern is easy to scale without losing any resolution.

However you want to interpret this trend of pattern drenching, the best place to start is the Design Pool pattern library. Get started today by looking through our library and finding your next favorite pattern.
